Danza Strain Information

From Swamp Boys Seeds comes Tina Danza, a hybrid strain that crosses Triangle Kush and Georgia Pine. This strain hits the head immediately and slowly settles into the body. Tina Danza has a funky chemical aroma with notes of cardamom and pine throughout.

About Tina Danza

Tina Danza is a balanced hybrid that has won fans thanks to its potency and bold, memorable flavor. Created by the California-based breeding operation Swamp Boys Seeds, it is a cross between two of their own proprietary strains: Georgia Pine and Triangle Kush. Tina Danza’s THC content has been measured at between 18% and 25%.

Tina Danza’s flowers are small to medium in size and cling together in a tapered, pinecone-like formation. The buds have an apparently hybridized structure, with the solid core typical of many indicas and wispy leaves that twist outward in a more sativa fashion. These leaves themselves are a dark shade of forest green and are shot through with cured and brown pistils. Finally, a blanket of crystalline trichomes covers all visible surfaces, making these flowers very sticky to the touch.

Flowers of Tina Danza have a predominantly fruity aroma, with some distinct hints of berry. A second whiff of the cured buds may pick up on some tangy lemon notes as well. Grinding up or breaking apart the flowers, meanwhile, gives off more of an astringent ammonia-like odor. When Tina Danza is combusted in a pipe or a joint, it gives off a pungent and acrid smoke that may tickle the sinuses or palate. On the exhale, this smoke has a fruity and slightly chemical taste.

The high from Tina Danza tends to creep up slowly and may require as many as 15 minutes before its effects become apparent. Initially, users may experience odd sensations like a twitching around the temples or some flushing in the cheeks. As these tics die down, they’re supplanted by a marked change in the smoker’s cognitive state — thoughts and ideas may seem to jump around in free association and may take on a new intensity. This cerebral headspace can encourage work on everything from work-related tasks to creative personal projects. In some cases, consumers will also experience strange sensory effects like auditory and visual distortions or inexplicable feelings of time passing more slowly. Users who are so inclined can bask in these psychedelic vibes by turning down the lights and turning on some moody music.

After about an hour, smokers should expect an increasingly heavy body stone. A tingle of relaxation that begins at the base of the neck may slowly trickle down the spine and spread out through the core. Consumers who may have been active tend to find themselves suddenly weighed down; performing any demanding physical tasks can feel like wading through peanut butter. At this point, Tina Danza’s blissed-out mood is better suited to kicking back on the couch with a movie than to plowing through a busy agenda. If dosage is increased, Tina Danza’s heavy body melt can turn into total couch-lock, pinning smokers in place. Because of its slow decline into drowsiness, this strain is recommended for late afternoon or evening consumption.

Tina Danza’s multifaceted high can also be of use to some medical cannabis patients. Its plugged-in way of thinking can enable long-term focus for those with attention deficit disorders. Additionally, the strain’s euphoric buzz can improve the symptoms of stress and depression. Physical benefits include relief from aches and pains, whether they’re related to chronic conditions like lupus or to minor inflammations like nausea and cramps. For those in a sufficiently relaxed set and setting, Tina Danza can even lead to deep, restful sleep, making it a possible antidote to insomnia. Because its onset comes with some risk of fast-paced, recursive thinking, this strain is not recommended for patients who are prone to paranoia or panic or who have a low THC tolerance.

With a little something for everyone, Tina Danza makes a great all-purpose smoke. Those toking in public, though, may want to take some odor control precautions, as this can be a very pungent bud.

Hybrid – 50% Sativa /50% Indica

THC: 20%, CBD: 1%

Tina Danza is a supe rare evenly balanced hybrid (50% indica/50% sativa) strain created through crossing the infamous Triangle Kush X Georgia Pine strains. Like its parent strains, Tina Danza has a super sweet earthy pine aroma that has just a touch of lemony kush. The flavor is of sweet lemons with a notable pine exhale that’s smooth and fresh. The Tina Danza high hits you almost as soon as you taste it, with an immediate cerebral rush that leaves you feeling energized and ready for anything that comes your way. As your motivation and focus build, your body will become completely relaxed with a tingly body high that washes through your entire being with giggly waves of euphoria. This effect will leave you feeling calm and at ease rather than weighing you down or leaving you sedated. Paired with its high 20% average THC level, these blissful effects make Tina Danza perfect for treating conditions such as chronic fatigue, appetite loss, insomnia, depression, and chronic stress. This bud has tight spade-shaped olive green nugs with dark amber hairs and a coating of vibrantly bright amber colored crystal trichomes.

I got this baby in Toronto last week. In general – amazing strain. Gave me a solid body buzz. Slightly hard on the lungs by the end of my smoke session. This one would be a little difficult to get work done while using. A good anytime of day medicine.
